It can be very hard to get a 'good' meal in Rome. I was recommended Hostaria Da Pietro by a native Roman as one of his top three choices for a high quality Roman meal. I wanted to try one of the four famous pasta dishes of Rome Caico e Pepe. I was not disappointed. The service was absolutely top class and finding that I came looking for a Caico e Pepe that a Roman would be happy with, they pushed the boat out and made it with a more rustic and 'genuine' pasta. The house wine was very good and the price for the meal was excellent (not cheap, cheap), given the quality and effort put in by the restaurant staff. I have absolutely no idea whether this is one of the three best Cacio e Pepe in Rome and I suspect that is a 'subjective' status anyway. However I would not hesitate to recommend Hostaria De Pietro. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Not too many but the options there are, are very good
