Yesterday we were at the Scheunencafé Herdering with 6 people. The ambience is beautiful :-) the food is ALWAYS delicious! But unfortunately the service hasn't been up to par since our last visits, which prompted me to write a review of our visit yesterday :-( When we arrived at the store we immediately felt like we were a “burden” instead of being happy about us. It took 15 minutes until we were even served, then drinks were missing and there was no champagne cold. That's just annoying... Unfortunately we then waited almost an hour for the food, which then arrived at the table with a very long delay and 2 people were only able to start eating 15 minutes later compared to the remaining 4 of us. We used to be also asked if we would like certain rolls but yesterday a basket was simply placed on the table and as a guest we hardly dared to ask... It simply shouldn't work like that and we don't know it either... Even in between there were hardly any questions we would like to order something else - this only happened when we started talking. We don't know the service at the Scheunencafé, because we've always been warmly welcomed and served. We just know it differently, we always recommend it and are probably disappointed because of that... But maybe things will change for the better on our next visit. :-) Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
