Talking about culinary delights. After the departure of Veldzicht (Oosterwijtwerd) and Regthuys (Wirdum) we were looking for a new suitable restaurant in the area. We accidentally ended up in Middelstum at 'Herberg In De Valk'. Their approach: a maximum of 12 dining places every evening and the same surprise dinner every evening for 2 months. Grand concept: this limitation (12 people and the same menu), the repetition (2 months) means that Mark-Willem Evenhuis and Evelien Aikema can organize truly fantastic evenings with their cooking skills, with full attention for their guests. You will be surprised by the beautifully presented plates and the explosions of taste you will experience. We are curious what Mark-Willem and Evelien will spoil us with in two months' time.
