This place is disastrous!! First of all the owner hired all new from the fresh boat and don’t know the food safety specially the bread department holding bread with no gloves and very unprofessional! When I come to the counter I told this new comer cashier who barely knows the food safety is she is telling me we don’t need to wear gloves and it’s a bread probably she is been to Canada not even 6 months and talking like a pro Canadian ! I already called the health department regarding this matter so expect them soon !! The owner needs to change this new unprofessional new comers or train them up to Canadian standard !! I have been coming here from years but slowly this store is going down !! I guess the next door Naseer is doing better !

First of all I would like to thank you for the review .secondly how rude is that, that you call someone new comer where you or your parents have been once new comer and have been worked in a place and I am very sure that you or your parents did not know any word English but you have been worked in this country with no experience or language scales .Third please educate more about food safety. There is no need for gloves if you make sure you hands are clean actually gloves have more germs then barehands as when you ware gloves you touch everything and because you think you have gloves on you never change it but your hands you could wash it when you touch anything dirty .Fourth: this the reason we don't accept cash at bakery so that our hands dose not get dirty . Where is the point of wareing gloves when touch money and touch bread with same gloves and hand .Have you ever think about that ? Fifth: we are doing this for many years and if you don't like it you are most welcome to go else where we do not force you to come here and all the best to you eating that bread that the gloves that the cashier is wareing has been touched the money which have been in so many hands

Herat Bazaar is a poor representation of Afghan hospitality and should not be associated with the Afghan community. We were double-booked, and despite the inconvenience, there was no apology or effort to make things right. The backroom, which was being rented out as a hall, was filthy, with garbage still present from the previous event. It was clear that this venue is incapable of hosting two events at once, as it caused confusion and chaos. The washrooms were outdated and unhygienic, with an unbearable swarm of flies. The entire place felt neglected, and it's frustrating to see that no effort has been made to keep the venue up to standard. Renovations are desperately needed, as this place clearly hasn't been updated in years. I hope management takes these issues seriously and invests in maintaining both the facility and the experience of its guests. Until then, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Very upset with the restaurant service, will recommend not to go but if you purchase anything please check your receipt, they charge you more without any code on the cash, they randomly put extra taxes and nothing mention on the receipt, and the food wasn't even good quality, rice was cold and hard, will never go there.
