I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for upscale dinning without the snooty experience. The food, service, and atmosphere are all wonderful. The service in particular stood out. Our server was enthusiastic, helpful, and really elevated the experience in ways I don't normally see. They were there when needed and never there when not. The food was similarly quite impressive. I had a chance to try a bunch of different dishes and all of them were above expectations. I ended up having the gnocchi, fries, and mushroom + bread. Each was unique. Everyone at our table liked their food. Anyways, this is a solid restaurant with great service and decent food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $40–50

The rootbeer was amazing. Trout was a little underwhelming and the atmosphere feels a little like a corporate cafeteria. Service is very Canadian but there's no avoiding that one. Haskap sorbet was cool. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

I had the experience of eating at this restaurant a few times now . We came here for lunch and brunch with some company. We all enjoyed our time here as ithe atmosphere was relaxed and quiet enough to easily have a conversation. The Hearth restaurant is located inside the Remai Modern Art Museum next to the gift shop when you walk in. It also has an outdoor seating area that would be nice on a nice day with great views even though we sat inside. I had the burger and it was very delicious and would have it again.
