Man oh man. What a funtastic evening. Had a package deal that included the spa. Masseuse was a blast, wife said it was the second best she had (she's so kind to me). In the pools after the City of Peel came down to audit them. Staff did their absolute best while the lady was shutting down jets. City of Peel needs to learn they can come before 10 when is not up and running yet. Not the Mills fault in the least! But let's get to the brass tacks. The dinner. Our hostess with the mostest was Diana. Immediately making us not feel like patrons, but friends we were seated and promptly and served drinks nearly as soon as we were seated. Our server was named Lisa. All of us hit it off immediately. The jokes were as tasteful as the meal which I would give it 10/10. It was well balanced, no other flavours overpowered others. A very hearty helping all around. This was 100% one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I will say this to some of the low reviews. You must be the kind of people who expect the world. I watched them bend over backwards for the pretentious last night and still not miss a beat at the other tables. Even in the reviews their desire to please the unpleasable is exceptional and above and beyond. Thank you so much Lisa and Diana (and our up and coming Alexis.....Alexa....I am sorry if I got that wrong) for one of the single greatest dine-outs of our lives. Spot on Everyone! We stayed over at the inn after an afternoon at the spa and we were very glad we dined at the restaurant for dinner (despite the mixed reviews). Overall service at the spa and with the inn staff were somewhat average but we were lucky to get Jackie as our waitress during dinner - she was cheerful, very thoughtful throughout, provided excellent recommendations, and honestly, just a genuine pleasure who definitely made an impression on us. For our meals, we actually thought the items not found on the menu were excellent (Caesar salad, PEI mussels). The chocolate trio dessert was also sublime and highly recommendeded. The beef tenderloin was good but I do concur with the other reviewers here that the entrees appear overpriced (even after adjusting for inflation elsewhere). No better way to ruin a meal than to have a waitress that you constantly have to go running to look for because you can't find her. She turned a one hour lunch into 2 hours simply because she could never be found. And the place was EMPTY! Annoying!!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
