It has remained the same since I went there as a kid in the 90s: no innovation in the place, there is the same furniture as then, with the students' writings engraved on the wood; no innovation in the sandwiches, which are the same as then. The ingredients appear to be of medium-low quality but the prices are high: for a sandwich and a half and a beer we spent €36 between 2, and these are sandwiches similar to those you would find more or less in any bar, like those attached to fuel stations. The strength of the venue is its proximity to the Rossini theatre: it is inevitable that, with the comings and goings of people in Piazza Lazzarini when there are cultural events, the venue fills up with people anyway. Perhaps also for this reason there is not a strong need to invest in the furnishing of the restaurant and, above all, in the quality of the food. In short, if you need a convenient logistical solution to go to the theater without having to run from one place to another, then it is a recommended place; if instead you are looking for a place to eat well, if you are looking for a quality sandwich shop, then I would not recommend Harnold's at the moment.
