I recently visited Halibut House Fish and Chips with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, I was greeted politely, and the staff maintained a respectful and courteous tone throughout my visit, which I appreciated. However, the overall service was significantly lacking. It took approximately 30 minutes just to have my order taken, despite the restaurant not being overly busy at the time. This long wait set a frustrating tone for the rest of the visit. When the food finally arrived, my order was incorrect, which added to the disappointment. Although the staff were polite, there was little effort to correct the mistake in a timely manner. It felt as though the communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff was disorganized, which impacted the quality of service. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I do believe that a more attentive approach and improved efficiency could have made this experience much better. I’m hopeful that the management team or corporate office will take this feedback seriously and offer some form of resolution, as I do see potential in the restaurant if the service aspect is addressed. I’m sharing this feedback in the spirit of helping improve the customer experience for future diners. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

Hopefully you can give us another try on a regular days, as we had a long line up yesterday with BOGO buy one and get one free and lack some part of communication and service. i was there this morning and was very disappointed i get arround by mobility scooter and was informed i could no longer bring it in i only do so when the weather is wet or cold the cold seat affects my lower back in winter i was told that wheel chairs and walkers were the only ones allowed in i don't obstruct aisles or seats with it this isn't right
