We stopped by “Hafenliebe” somewhat by chance. Cold and looking for a way to warm up, we were pleasantly surprised to get a spot on Friday evening, even without a reservation. We were very impressed with the interior. Unfortunately it then became increasingly loud. Our ordered food arrived a short time after we ordered. Since just under 15 minutes had passed, the thought quickly occurred to me that a lot of things were no longer being cooked in the kitchen but were "just" warmed up and served. The use of convenience products was also very obvious. The taste was okay, well prepared, but still not a good price-performance ratio, especially too expensive considering the size of the portion. The drinks we ordered were also disappointing. The hot sea buckthorn nectar only came warm and very stretched and the non-alcoholic cocktail was more of a bland mix of the fruit juices listed on the menu without any decoration or garnish. Very unfortunate. Even though the reception was very welcoming and the service was very friendly, I would not eat in this restaurant again or recommend it to others.
