We went on a day trip and were looking for a place to eat when we saw Habanero. Thinking it was a Mexican or Tex-Mex place was a mistake. It is a regular, local Balkan food restaurant without a single Texican offering. We had hamburgers and a Caesar Salad. Both underwhelmed us. The bun was huge but the meat was not. The hamburger was under seasoned but edible. The salad was way over dressed. It was drowned in the dressing but had ample chicken with it. It took and extraordinary long time to get the burger about 20 minutes and the restaurant had one other customer at the time who ordered what looked like chicken schnitzel after we had ordered (he got his before us). The price wasn’t really bad. We spent about €13 for the meal, but probably wouldn’t have gone had we known it wasn’t a Tex-Mex place. The waitress was really nice and friendly although she spent more time with buddies over beers and cigarettes than with customers. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
