Yesterday, I took my family out for dinner at HINCHA, a relatively new restaurant we were eager to try. There were seven of us, excited for our first family dinner in over three years. We made a simple request to the kitchen: no onions or anything from the onion family in our meals. We ordered the most expensive dishes and, naturally, expected a high standard of service. Unfortunately, that wasn’t what we received. The eggplant dish arrived with chives, despite our request. It seems the kitchen didn’t realize chives are part of the onion family. Then, a pizza arrived with leeks as a garnish. When we asked for it to be sent back due to the leeks, the staff returned with the same pizza, insisting that leeks are not onions. To make matters worse, we overheard the waitstaff talking about us and pointing in our direction. The service manager then came to our table, not to apologize, but to argue with us, claiming that leeks aren’t related to onions. Rather than addressing the mistake professionally, he seemed to smirk and mock our request. It was clear he spoke about us to his staff and the kitchen, as they continued to point and look at our table. For a meal that cost over €630, I expected far better service. Sadly, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in over five years. To top it off, today half of my family is suffering from diarrhea and vomiting, including our dog, who was given some of the leftover meat. This place has seriously gone downhill. I visited with my family, who traveled all the way from Mexico to experience Andorra for the first time, and we were all extremely disappointed. On my first visit, the variety of meats and the service were outstanding, but this third time was a complete letdown. The waiter, who is now the manager, was rude and unaccommodating. Despite our group including 3 small children who wouldn’t eat much, they forced us to order the tasting menu instead of allowing us to order from the full menu. The tasting menu felt like it was made up of leftovers from the kitchen—absolutely terrible. The food was bland, and the service was just as bad. To make matters worse, we ordered the Messi Golden Ball for dessert, hoping to give the kids a special experience. Instead, the waitress dropped it on the table so hard that it broke, completely ruining the moment. When we suggested ordering from the regular menu, the newly promoted manager rudely dismissed our request, claiming they had already warned us about the tasting menu. It’s sad that they could not accommodate 5 adults and three and know that if come here spending is not a problem. Overall, this visit was a disaster, and it's sad to see how much this place has deteriorated. I won't be recommending it anymore. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
