I recently visited Gunay Lunchroom in Zaandam and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the food was delicious and the delivery of our order was impressively quick. The dishes were flavorful and clearly prepared with care, making for a satisfying culinary experience. However, there were several issues that detracted from our overall enjoyment. Firstly, we noticed cobwebs on the ceiling, which raised concerns about the cleanliness of the establishment. Additionally, the back door was left open, which not only affected the ambiance but also posed potential hygiene issues. Another significant concern was the behavior of the waiter. At one point, he was smoking near the open back door, allowing the smell to waft into the dining area. This was quite unpleasant and detracted from the otherwise enjoyable meal. Furthermore, we observed staff transporting dustbin bags through the middle of the dining area to the back for disposal. This practice was both unappealing and unprofessional, disrupting the dining atmosphere. Overall, while the food at Gunay Lunchroom is commendable, the cleanliness and some aspects of the service need serious attention. I hope management addresses these concerns to enhance the overall dining experience. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2
