The Gulp is simply fabulous. I went there for lunch with colleagues, who knew the place. It is located in the elegant Poggiofranco, a 'good' neighborhood of Bari, on the ground floor of a very popular building in the neighborhood. When you enter the Gulp, what stands out in your mind are the natural lights, which come from everywhere. Furthermore, the wood, sought after for both the counter and the shelves, is seasoned and 'warm'. Small ingenious 'niches', made of perforated concrete bricks, contain the corks of the wine bottles. And again, two outdoor locations, one indoor location with 'fast' (narrow tables and high stools) or 'slow' (wide solid wood tables and comfortable chairs) solutions. What about the sandwich, I ate that but I promise to come back to eat more: crunchy the bread, tasty and filling, just the right amount of heat. The glass of primitive wine was also niche, mellow and velvety on the palate. And finally, what makes each place a place to remember : the courtesy and kindness of the servers and the owner. Congratulations all, guys. I'll be back to visit you and taste your specialties. Ah... the menu is on a quad code brilliantly printed on each napkin...
