Great restaurant. Our server, the Ukranian girl, did an amazing job. The food was delicious, and the vibe was great. Will visit again! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Honestly used to love gringo street, their tacos are amazing, their drinks are bomb but recently the service has not been the best. I went there for dinner with a friend last night, made a reservation through their website as I knew it would be busy on a Friday night but there was no table prepared. I would’ve been more than happy to wait but wasn’t really given the option as the hostess just got very short with me, stared blankly at me as I politely tried to explain that we just wanted to sit a table, not at the bar, and then said sure and threw us up at the bar anyways. I was disappointed but thanked her anyways and she just walked away without a word. The whole situation right from the jump just made me feel like I was an inconvenience and just not wanted there. When my friend got there she also received a very stiff welcome, because the hostess just walked right past her and offered her no help or service either. I payed for my single drink and we decided to leave because again the atmosphere did not feel welcoming, although our actual server was super sweet and friendly. I payed, I tipped her, we were leaving and I find this hostess giving me dirty looks on top of it all. Felt very micro agression-y. I had been there the week before and received this type of irritated and annoyed service from the same hostess and given her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she’s stressed, I don’t know, but it shouldn’t be an excuse to treat your customers that way. I have been in the industry for over 4 years so I am usually more understanding than most but I was just extremely disappointed. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
