The worst meal I had in my life! Ordered one ginger beef without rice and one regular with rice. Both meals were made without rice and maybe 6 tiny pieces of beef. The vegetables were barely cooked by being boiled in sauce that one would only use 2-3tbsps of! They were served swimming in the said sauce too! I was confused at first thinking it was soup almost. My friend was throwing up all night. Whoever made that dish has never cooked before. Or ate a cooked meal. Staff was friendly. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30

I’ve always been a supporter of Grillers Steakhouse, often rating it 5 stars despite it being on the pricier side because the food was usually pretty good. However, my most recent visit was so disappointing that I doubt I’ll be returning anytime soon unless they come under new management or resolve the issues. To start, the service was unbelievably poor. We were greeted by a server who said she would seat us after delivering a drink to another table. Instead, she took an order and took her time while we stood there waiting. We were in a rush and almost walked out right then, and in hindsight, we probably should have. When she finally seated us, we quickly decided on one of the more expensive steaks, expecting it to be good. It took nearly an hour for our food to arrive. When it did, the portions were tiny, and the steak was not cooked to our specifications. On top of that, the server forgot our toast, leaving us with an unsatisfactory meal that wasn’t worth the high price. The final straw was when my friend paid the bill in cash. There was a small amount of change left, and the server rudely asked if he wanted his change. My friend just shrugged it off and let her keep it, but the experience left a bad taste in our mouths. The service was rude, the food was lousy, the portions were small, and the prices were exorbitant. Grillers Steakhouse is going downhill rapidly, and I can’t recommend it until these issues are addressed. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: CA$30–40 Food: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Salads were expensive and small, Ceasar dressing was runny and skimpy. The chicken cordon blue and steak was tasty and good portion. The service was not good at all. Brought my soup the same time as the meal and after a long wait for our food she didn't come back until it was time to pay the bill.
