But how well we ate in this restaurant! We were immediately put at ease by the service, which was courteous and willing to joke. As for the dishes, I took a sauté (delicious), then the fillet, excellent, which is for two people, sweet, bitter and a bottle of wine. On a hot and sunny Sunday I went to lunch at Gioia Cucina di terra in Salerno. Everything was perfect... we sat inside the room because the temperature outside was almost 40 degrees. The kind and highly professional staff made us sit at our table and we took a look at the menu. The dishes are mostly traditional but with innovative notes where the chef's great professionalism can be glimpsed. We had a parmigiana as an appetizer, some asparagus and bacon tagliolini, tasted an excellent fillet with green pepper and finally some chocolate ice cream with chopped amaretti biscuits and chocolate beans. Everything perfect...and above all delicious! I wouldn't recommend it to you... for one reason only: maybe next time I won't find a place... but instead go there and let all of them delight you and advise you... you won't regret it!
