Located just off the Marry Hill Bypass with a great view of the Pitt River flowing into the Mighty Fraser River. It's been a few years since I've been to the Gillnetter but I was more than pleased that they finally did some nice upgrades to the inside of the Pub. Gone is the Carpet, and put in a nice new flooring. And not to mention they finally Reupholstered all the bench seating and so on ( believe me it sure needed to be done) like I said it's been a while since I was at the Pub. The outdoor patio is a great way to spend a lazy summer afternoon having lunch and drinks. Not to mention enjoying the evening as well. The Gillnetter has a not too bad selection of local Craft Beers. And the food is always fairly consistent, with one of my go to's being the Seafood Club Sandwich ( with your choice of bread ) All in all the Gillnetter Pub is a great place to relax and enjoy the day and evening with friends or your significant other. Since they finally did some upgrades to the inside I'll probably be back more often with friends and so on Price per person: CA$50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Halibut & Chips, Seafood Melt, Fish & Chips, Wings, Cioppino, Seafood Clubhouse, Burger

Peace For All un an plus tôt sur Restaurant Guru

When it first opened up decades ago this place rocked and was an iconic magnet for locals; loved their shrimp nachos and fish & chips as it was less than 1km from my former home. We went there in 2021 and did not experience the same level of food as before but would give it another try down the road.
