My husband chose this restaurant to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, therefore a unique occasion. The place is very charming and welcoming and the staff are friendly, which are the only reasons why I give it 1 star and not 0. Due to my personal state of pregnancy and allergy to a protein, I independently exclude a large series of dishes that I cannot eat (but certainly no one is to blame for this) and opt for a "Giacomo-style" dumpling. The waiter explains to me that I won't be able to eat normal bread due to my allergy and that he will return with bread "made especially for me". In the meantime, pour both of them some oil into a saucer. Before my phantom bread could arrive, we already had the first courses in front of our noses. So I was left with an oil-smeared plate next to my elbow while I tried to eat my plate of soggy, tasteless gnocchi with no clear flavor. In the meantime, I received two sandwiches, probably defrosted, gluten-free (too bad I don't have celiac disease). The second courses have embarrassingly high prices and without justification: they are not elaborate preparations, but things such as fried fish or Milanese cutlet. My husband chooses a simple entrecote with potatoes and leaves part of the food on the plate, as the aromatic herbs accompanying the potatoes are bitter and the meat not particularly good. We were both very disappointed and will have very bad memories of an evening that should have been special. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €90–100 Atmosphere: 3

Terrible experience. The FIDIM fund bought Giacomo's company and the restaurant became a medium-level trattoria. Grissini grissinbon but wine from 60 euros minimum, service from a neighborhood club and normal food that not even grandma with cataracts would cook so much without flavour. An incredible disappointment that they wanted to change what was a very good restaurant. Disgust.
