- totally overpriced - they only get cash and don’t make a receipt - they rush you to leave because they want to take more customers for the same table - you get all your clothes smelling of bbq whether you leave Stay away from this place, there is plenty of better places in Munich Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50–60 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I don't usually write reviews, but this store definitely deserves it. I was at Gigo bbq for the first time with my sister and a friend on Saturday October 26th, 2024 and I have to say that the food and the service were a 12/10. We drove from Salzburg to Munich to actually see the city a bit, unfortunately it was too crowded in the city and we decided to make a reservation at the Gigo bbq. That was the highlight of the day! The service was very nice and competent. We took the menu for 3 people and added other dishes. Everything was on the table within 5 minutes. You can really taste the quality in the meat and side dishes! For dessert I had the mochi ice cream and my sister had the matcha ice cream. Even though I don't normally like matcha, it was really delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and we would love to come back :) It looks very cute but also elegant from the inside. The flowers in the foyer and the manga on the wall make it really inviting.
