This is a family-run restaurant, and this is very clearly reflected in the experience you get. The place is small, traditionally decorated, and cosy. Food is traditional, Swiss-European cuisine.
But boy what a food it is! We had a three-course dinner there: pumpkin soup for starter, deer sirloin with red cabbage Spaetzli and other sides, and plum sorbet/red currant parfait for dessert. The quality of the food exceeds the expectations and it is an outstanding quality at a good price. Fresh, home-made, elegant but not at all intimidating, highly recommended.
