Were on the Thurberg circular hiking trail. We came across the Haldenhof inn rather by chance. Easter 2024 featured beautiful warm weather on Good Friday. Of course everyone wanted to sit on the beautiful terrace and enjoy the beautiful view towards the valley and the Alps. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a nice place. The restaurant is very modern, bright and friendly. This also applies to the sanitary area. The food was plentiful and very tasty. We ordered bouillon with homemade pancakes and cream schnitzel with rösti. Everything perfect. Thumbs up for the food and the really friendly service. The only small point of criticism was the sometimes very long waiting time between courses and also until paying. But it really wasn't that bad. Today we were able to end our vacation at the Gasthaus Haldenhof with a perfect meal, great views and total hospitality. Mega fine wine! We took two bottles home with us! Unfortunately we don't live around the corner but it's definitely worth a visit on your next trip! The children were also absolutely thrilled and are looking forward to their next visit with the really nice gentleman. Simply great! Thank you! Kind regards from Valais!
