We came to the Baule inn at 9:05 p.m. and asked if we could get another bite to eat. With the words "no, they're already cleaning the kitchen!" we were sent away. Nothing to do. A pity. Service: 1

It's a shame that you get a bad rating when you no longer offer food outside of kitchen hours. Reviews are for the inn's services, not the kitchen opening times. Gasthaus Baule also received full points in a restaurant test by the Hildesheimer Allg.Zeitung. Friendly operator couple, as well as the staff. Cozy dining room, hunter's room for smaller groups, large tastefully and modernly furnished hall for weddings and other larger celebrations. There is also a bowling alley and when the weather is nice you can sit comfortably in a newly renovated garden. Home cooking. The inn is absolutely recommended. Like the rest of the catering industry, the Baule inn has not had an easy time of it during the Corona pandemic. But that is history and it is now as pleasant a stay as ever.
