We went to Frumento Catania which was recommended by our local guide is set in a lovely location. What an amazing selection of Pizzas. We had both Frumento and Neapolitan base pizzas. One of the best pizzas we ever had. Fresh vegetables. Ever thought a fried aubergine on a pizza would taste so nice. Deserts are also very nice.Service was excellent. Cannot fault it. A must try when you are in Catania Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We decided to escape the busiest part of Catania, even though it's only a 3-minute walk from Piazza del Duomo. That day, we were craving a great pizza. A sign caught our eye claiming to have the best pizza in Sicily, even ranking in the top 20 in Italy and top 50 worldwide, if I remember correctly. We dined on the terrace, enjoying the lively atmosphere of a cozy and beautiful square, right at the foot of Via Crociferi. The pizzas are huge, and although the crust is thin, it might be a bit much for a single person. They were absolutely delicious, though. And the service was excellent. One of the waitresses made our experience really enjoyable, checking on us frequently to see if we needed anything and trying to speak Spanish with us, all with a great sense of humor, which we appreciated. Amazing! We were satisfied with the dinner. Pizza was so delicious and big,the price of it is approved and isn’t high. Waitress Imma(hope it’s correct) is professional! The service was incredible and I enjoyed every single second of it and of our dining experience!
