Unfortunately, this was an experience we’d rather forget due to the disappointing quality of the sandwich we received. The puccia bread was dry and lacked the freshness that’s essential to a good sandwich. The eggplant was dry, offering none of the softness or flavor you’d expect, while the meat was bland and textureless, resembling paper in both taste and feel. Unbelievably fresh and delicious fried fish. A must when in Santa Caterina! Grab a box of fried fish to go, and head down to the lido and enjoy your perfect Salentino lunch!
