This was our first visit to Friends Cafe, and we’ll definitely be back! We went for a 6km run/walk around Edgemont beforehand, so we were HUNGRY, and wanted to try a bit of everything. They have a great selection of grilled paninis, deli sandwiches, drinks and freshly baked goods on the menu. We ordered The First One and The Chicken One for paninis, a bowl of carrot ginger soup w/ buttered bread, a protein latte and a gingerbread latte, AND carrot cake and chocolate cake to finish. Would order them all again, but also can’t wait to try something new the next time we’re in. This cafe is cute, cozy and a great pit-stop if you’re in the NW or heading to Nose Hill Park.
