Lovely restaurant with a really comfortable atmosphere. Service was welcoming and professional. The dishes were good as well. I had a nice time in this restaurant and recommend it for a trip in Mannheim. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went to the restaurant with my wife on a Saturday evening after a concert at 10:45 p.m. and wanted to order a bottle of wine; the place was full up to our table. The friendly waitress gave us advice, but she wasn't even allowed to bring us some bread with olive oil because the kitchen was closed. When she accepted the order for the bottle, she went into the kitchen and then came out and said she was not allowed to give out any more bottles and that she could give out the last order as a glass at 11:30 p.m. because it closed at midnight. Shortly before 11:30 p.m. we wanted to order a second glass, but that was denied because the last round was already at 11 p.m. But, at the next table there was a friendly group who had drunk several bottles and the boss brought a bottle of wine and a cheese platter. When I asked why we didn't get anything, neither a bottle of wine nor a bit of bread or cheese, he said "they've been here for 3 hours and they're allowed to get something" so we can't! I've never experienced that, this inhospitability was unique! If it were to be given less than one star, then the manager of the store would have deserved it. Service: 1
