This is a gem. Wholesome food for your soul. The breakfast wrap is top tier, a good meal, at a price you literally can't beat. Have it with a $1 coffee that's better than starbucks. It's a no-brainer, and a regular stop when we have work nearby.

In the past I've really enjoyed going to Fresh Counter & Catering because the food has been consistently good and on the cheap side. You can't really beat a $5 salad that could feed you over two meals. Unfortunately, over the years I've worked in the Bentall Centre, I've come across more than one of their staff treating me like garbage rather than a paying customer. For example, this morning I popped by and asked for an avocado sliced into a to-go container and a boiled egg. Two items they have and provide on sandwiches, in salads, and on the side of other items. The seemingly youngest of the staff there served me and upon taking my payment she told me "I can't give you a whole avocado after this - we're not a grocery store." I couldn't believe it. Happy to take my money, but refusing to give me something from their well stocked sandwich area and with such a curt and snide attitude. I then opened the container that had been handed to me and the avocado was 75% brown (disgusting!). I told her that it was really brown and that I wanted another one and she said "It's ripe" and walked away. This kind of customer service or lack there of is absolutely appalling to me. I work in one of the Bentall towers and I share an office with 40 other people who are going to hear about this. Do they really think that treating customers as such will not affect their business??I really hope the owner reads this so that she can re-evaluate her staffing solutions.
