My first encounter at FOLK as a visitor to Marrakech was genuinely remarkable. I enjoyed my first Fetour, which was a great way to learn about Morocco's many gastronomic customs. The welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff made me feel at home as soon as I walked in. The dish itself was a stunning fusion of contemporary presentation and classic ingredients. From the aromatic harira soup to the expertly spiced main courses and decadent desserts, each dish demonstrated the genuineness and attention to detail that go into Moroccan cooking. Food was decent, but not amazing and the cocktails were far too sweet. The bread for the hummus was not good, but the hummus was. The entertainment was great, very good singer with the band. The service was good overall, but they tried to charge full price for drinks even when the menu clearly said everyday is happy hour from 19-21. Probably most folks just miss it, so pay attention. We informed the waiters to pay attention to order the happy hour drinks from 19-21… they have to order it from the happy hour section. I had an unforgettable dinner at Folk Marrakech yesterday. The ambiance was absolutely amazing, creating a perfect setting for a delightful evening. The welcoming atmosphere and the excellent hospitality truly stood out. Thanks to Nisrine for the warm hospitality and to Chef Rachid for the wonderful feast and refined taste. Knowing Chef Rachid personally, I can attest to his exceptional culinary skills. The food was exceptional—I've never had such an extraordinary dining experience before. Every dish was a masterpiece, blending traditional Moroccan flavors with modern culinary techniques. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal in Marrakech.
