Food not that great. Burgers are very small and pizza was very soggy. For the price I would expect a bit more. They have a good play area though

Used the whatsapp system, but it really doesn't work. Our coffees came after 40 mins. And, even though we got a confirmation that the food was ordered, when we checked with them an hour later, there was no order! So we left without food! I am a patient person but I think this is the worst service I've EVER had. Everyone is complaining about this system but the management is too stubborn to admit that it's not working.

What a wonderful first impression we had, visiting Folk Cafe in St. James. It is the perfect venue to check out for some cocktails and those summer vibes. Folk Café is one of those restaurants where you go to unwind and take in the sun. It has a beautiful outdoor seating right next the St. James beach front. A huge play area for the kids and let’s not forget our pets, as it is a pet friendly venue. It’s fun for the whole family and friends! We had a selection of yummy foods and delectable desserts, which I highly recommended and some cocktails to wash is all down! Our order consisted of sticky korean wings, crumbed calamari with hand cut fries and lemon garlic butter sauce, a bald eagle pizza(chorizo, feta, onion & avo), mini burger and chips, bar-one milkshakes and a mojito. Lemon meringue and chocolate brownie with ice-cream. All of which was absolutely amazing!! I could stop stuffing my face, it was that good. I have to say the star of the show was the wood-fired pizzathin base with a crispy airy crust, stringy melted cheese for that cheese pull and those toppings worked so well together, like a team of flavour!! In conclusion, Folk Café is a must try this summer and make sure you can fit your entire family in the car or meet up with your mates for some drinks.
