Dined at Foliage tonight. Food was good, not great.

COVID protocols not being followed as our temperatures were not checked upon arrival.

Service was abysmal. Felt non existent. Other tables were checked on regularly by the wait staff. The only time they came to our table was to ask if we would be ok with a window/door being opened to accommodate another table.

We finished our bottle of water and were not even offered another. I finished my beer well before I finished my meal and again I was not asked if I wanted another one (I did). Our three pieces of bread, including one small end piece, was collected without the offer of more. The staff did not check to see if we were happy with our meals.

The whole ambiance felt like a club that we weren't invited to or welcome to be in. The chef seemed to be talking to one particular table the majority of the evening and the tempo of the service felt hurried as if everyone would be a lot happier once we were gone.

We were a lot happier once we were gone too.
