J'ai adoré ce bar. Le sommelier a été de très bons conseils et a su me faire découvrir des mousseux italiens tout aussi bons que nos champagnes. L'apperitivo offert en accompagnement est un délice.

Champagne or prosecco? Not infrequently the most common answer to this question is "Prosecco, I don't like champagne". And I won't hide from you that we too have always responded like this. Probably because we had never had the opportunity to drink real, good, quality champagne. Since yesterday our response has taken on a different form and so has our consideration of champagne. At @flutechampagnerieroyale we tried some excellent champagnes paired with perfect dishes to enhance their flavor and pleasure. They served us a Jacques Lorent Grande Reserve with the starter. Fresh. Decisive but at the same time light. It was paired with an oyster appetizer () and two vol-au-vents: one with asparagus cream and caramelized pepper; the other with calf liver and black pepper. Following this, a Boeuf Bourguignon with mushrooms and spring onions was served, truly delicious and this also went very well with the champagne. Too bad we didn't have bread with which to make the delicious Boeuf Bourguignon sauce We then finished with dessert. They served us a sort of cheesecake with chocolate mousse, crumble on the bottom, with candied orange and caramel on top. This too is delicious and accompanied by a Reboso del Piave. The place is a mix of elegance and informality, enough to make you feel comfortable in both jeans and a suit. The two internal rooms can comfortably accommodate customers for an aperitif or dinner (they open at 5pm), as can the two external dehors (one with velvet armchairs, the other with a more informal style). The evening was then further enlivened by live music and a kind gift of oysters to all the women at the table by a French guest who sat a short distance from us.
