Used to love this location but they refuse to allow people to use the tables in the upper section, as they see the place as a 60's dinner. Now i and my brother are slightly bigger gentlemen and the booth (made in the 60's-80's) are not meant for people our size this means that if the two normal tables are being used we are forced to sit in the booth that dig into our stomachs, very uncomfortable!! When we said this to the manager her response seemed to be a meh i dont care its a 60's dinner so booths it is. I will not be returning as a customer to this location as they seem to not care about any slightly larger inclined individuals, sad.... Edit after the response. Yes we where told we could wait. About 40 mins.... so our choices are wait almost an hour or sit in a booth that is way to small, because the manager would not allow one table to be opened up. The problem is not the waiting its the fact that the managers attitude was nope its a booth dinner that area is only for parties of 20+ period!!! Not it will be open if we have staffing its it will be open if we have a big party. As for the reserving doesnt do much good when you only do that in the week, and we can only go on weekends. We will still take our customership to other floyds but not this one. Unless a refit ever gets done to make bigger booths. Because right now the attitude seems to be oh well if you are to fat to fit in a booth then wait for almost an hour for 1 of our 2 tables to be open.... when you could easily manage around and close a booth for the time we are there. Note it is not booths i dislike the ones in langford are fine as those where made more recently and have more space its the fact these booths are from the 60s or 70s and are to small for a vast majority of people nowadays!! Hi Gordon, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. You are correct, sometimes that section is closed and on this particular day, it was. The manager offered to hold another table for you that would have suited your needs, once the group that was sitting there left, but you chose to take the booth instead. Great environment retains the vibe from the previous place. Got the Mahoney and was not disappointed in my dinner for 4 telluwhut. Quality ingredients and good portions (almost outrageous!) and staff that are attentive and engaged. Eat at Floyd's!
