This review has two critical parts: customer service and quality control.
Fit for life is the equivalent to a half-hearted Pita Pit. I decided to try their $5 chicken pita special. The individual who was making my pita seemed as though she could not open or fill a pita properly - there was also a severe lack of ingredients in the pita probably due to the fact that there was an insecurity about tearing the pita. While she was packing the pita I asked what some of the mixed herb ingredients were and I received no response... There should be a more thorough training program. Thorough being how to make a pita and what the ingredients are. I don't think that's asking much.
More importantly, both my girlfriend and I got very ill the day after eating here. The only food we had all day that was the same was one Fit for Life $5 Chicken Pita and one Fit for Life Thai Soup. The precooked cold chicken was stored in a large steel vat that looked like a pile of cedar pellets and the soup was stored in a similar container with the lid partially on. My food sanitation knowledge is weak but the entire vibe of the eatery was questionable, even with an employee with the title "Quality Control" working.
My recommendation is to stay far away from this franchise and let it go out of business. Sam Davis, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Hi
I have been in Canada for last 3 months and I consider it in par with US as far as standards and public care is concerned. But gradually I have a feeling that the standards are not being followrd by many of the people here.
Scenario is I visited a reaturant kiosk called fit for life food and there was a deal to have a burrito for 5$. I chose to have it and give it a try. When she started making it for me, she started saying this you cant have as part of deal or that u cant have as part of deal. C'mon how can one be so rude. Then after the burrito was ready, we asked for salsa that what it was supposed to serve. She declined saying that it was not in deal and you have already demanded more than what is expected. I felt so humiliated in front of everyone there as I was asking something for free.
Pleasesee to this situation. This is not acceptable! I want this never to happen to anyone.
This is my second time eating here. The only reason I ever chose to eat here is based off recommendations, my friends always say that it's so good. So the first time, was a disappointment... This time was also a disappointment. I find their food to be so bland, it literally has no flavor.. No matter how many sauces and things you put on it. I ordered the chicken ceasar wrap the first time, today I ordered the Mediterranean chicken wrap. I guess to be fit for life you have to eat bland food. :(
