It was a wonderful meal that we had. They have some of the best beer battered fish and chips I have had. They also had cheap sushi. Vegetarian options: Yes there was vegetarian options such as sushi. It was my birthday on the 19th November, and we came especially for seafood. We ordered most of the sea food dshes from mussels, to prawns and also called in 4 days before to find out about fresh Lobster, which we also ordered. The lobster we got hardly had any legs, it was stale old Lobster, as if its been in the freezer for years. The meat was crumbly, and not what we are ususally used to. The sickening sweet sause was overpowering the Lobster dish. Didnt enjoy this R500 Lobster at all. Will never have Lobster at any restaurant again. We usually buy Lobster from the fish shop and prepare it, but my experience was sadly unsatisfactory. The rest of the sea food was amazing. The service was good, and we spent over R2300 with a 10% tip. We never ate at Fishmonger before, and only came because of the reviews. We went to Fishmonger Blueberry Square. Not a great experience. The Calamari was overcooked. The tables were also very close together. During Covid I thought there would have been more space.
