The waitress didn’t know a single word of English, which wouldn’t be a problem if she were friendly and tried to communicate with guests despite the language barrier. When we reminded her that we had ordered a beer along with our water, she became unfriendly, as if it were our mistake and not hers. Not to mention, we had to ask for an ashtray several times. We were charged €2 per person for cutlery (which we hadn’t been charged for the day before). The food is okay, but nothing more than that, and we only went there to eat because there aren’t many options in town. The service, food quality, and attitude towards customers are quite poor. Perhaps they are only friendly towards local residents. All in all, my rating is very low, and I do not recommend this place. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: €10–20

Ristorante tranquillo, ideale per una cena rilassante. Ho mangiato pesce, con varie tipologie di pietanze. Ottimo il menù a prezzo fisso, conveniente e completo, con inclusa anche una bottiglia di vino a scelta, dolce, caffè e amaro. Esperienza positiva, lo consiglio. I recently went to Fishé in Palo del Colle and had an outstanding experience. The place is really nice and well kept. From the first moment I was greeted, I noticed the friendliness of the staff, which contributed to making the atmosphere pleasant. Most important, of course, is the food and I have to say I was very satisfied. I tried the fried cod which tasted great. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Also, I ordered the roasted octopus as well, which was another delicious dish. One good thing I noticed is that Fishé's prices are below average compared to other fish restaurants. However, one thing to keep in mind is that the portions might be a bit small. However, given the low cost, it is possible to opt for a double portion and be fully satisfied. Overall, I had a very pleasant evening at Fishé. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good affordable seafood cuisine in Palo del Colle.
