Absolutely blown away by the kindness, creativity, and top-notch customer service from Michelle and Jenn! During my visit in June 2025, I desperately wanted to try their famous salmon candy — and they *made it happen* in the most unforgettable way. Not only did they go out of their way to accommodate my request, they took it a step further with out-of-the-box thinking to make sure I got what I needed. Their passion, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond turned a simple craving into a core memory. Oh — and the food? Absolutely out of this world. The salmon candy lived up to every bit of the hype and then some. Took some to Stanley Park and had a picnic with crackers and dip! Highly recommend. If you're looking for incredible food *and* great customer service, this is it!

Clean, organized, even the quality of the containers and ketchup holders are better. Seems like the locals go here. Best priced from the big 3. Paying 2.50 to split a 2 piece is worth the money. I'm not one to drink pop but the ones offered are nice and light. Has the best fries out of the big 3 & some different fish options plus they have their own fresh seafood shop attached to it. I think you brits would love this place it's more your style of fish and chips. Although the fish was tasty and fresh the batter was a little bit heavy and oily. I've tried the Chowder at all the big 3 and I would say this is a close second, of course better then Barbs but not better then Red Fish. Beautiful ambience & fantastic seating areas. RIP-OFF. Do Not get your fish smoked here. Quoted $6 per pound when I took fish 50 pounds into FAS to get smoked. $6 a pound is what St Jeans in Nanaimo charges for FINISHED smoke fish. Picked up 16 pounds of smoked fish today....fish I CAUGHT AND SUPPLIED...and they charged me ...get this $300 for 16 pounds.....$6 per pound for raw fish. I was angry and they brushed me off. IT CAME OFF LIKE I WAS THE 100TH PERSON TO HAVE THE SAME REACTION. This is a SCAM....do not use this local business.
