Essayez une glace fascinante. Beaucoup de visiteurs commandent un vin de désert délicieux. Les gens visitent Fence & Post pour goûter un café immense.
L'atmosphère intime de ce lieu permet aux invités de se reposer après une longue journée de travail. Imaginez la combinaison d'un plat délicieux avec un personnel énorme, c'est exactement ce que cet endroit vous offre. Un service beau est toujours un plaisir. Ce restaurant propose des repas à un prix juste. Avec un décor spectaculaire, les visiteurs se sentiront comme chez eux. 4.6 est la note que Fence & Post a obtenu du sytème de notation de Google.

I have lunch with friends or family at Fence & Post fairly frequently. The food is invariably freshly prepared and of high quality: I find the fish and chips to be among the very best . Service is first rate - very attentive to allergies etc. The atmosphere is pleasant but I find the "background" music is often irritatingly loud and makes conversation a bit difficult for seniors like me with hearing aids. Dietary restrictions: One of my frequent guests has gluten issues and is very happy with the range of gluten-free options. I have some food allergies and the servers are always most careful to check with the kitchen. Parking: Parking in downtown Cochrane can be very difficult - it is almost entirely free street parking. It will usually be possible to find a spot within a couple of blocks, but this can be problematic for those of us with limited mobility. Kid-friendliness: This is not really a "family" restaurant, and it does not cater to younger kids - although I sometimes take my two teenage granddaughters and everything is just fine Wheelchair accessibility: It is possible to get a wheel chair in to the restaurant, but there is not much space for one once in. I do use an electric wheelchair on occasion but I have never actually tried to bring it in too the restaurant. I was there as a visitor from out of provi-ce with my local family. Right away, this restaurant was not "kid friendly." A 3 year old was watching something on a cell phone and we were asked to have the sound turned down. With the loud house music, it seemed a strange request. The kids' meals had BBQ sauce instead of ketchup. The fries were way too salty. There are no highchairs for little ones, a clue. The adult food was only fair tasting, not hot and from a limited menu. The mens' washroom was filthy. There appeared to be grease on the floor outside the cooking area. Staff was pleasant however, I would not ever go there again. A pretentious place with poor results for a hungry family.

I had dinner at the Fence & Post last night. I ordered the Snapper and was advised it was another white fish which I hadn't eaten before. When the fish was served it was cold and after a bite I discovered it was also raw. One of my dinner partners was a chef so I asked his opinion and he confirmed it was raw. I was given a new fish dinner after everyone else had finished their dinner. It was not a good dining experience - watching the others eat and then eating alone. The server was good and the restaurant atmosphere appealing. Expectations was not met.
