+ pleasant atmosphere + delicious ham + friendly service staff + beautiful trimmings - long waiting times - Tables were wiped without rinsing with the same cloth that had been used to wipe the seats. - Various, but always old or already dried out bread for the evening snack platter, where the bread is an essential topping and not an addition and should therefore be at least somewhat freshly thawed and baked - It would be good if the packed finished goods on the shelves where the best before date has expired were sorted out. - the prices are relatively high The visit is not a total failure, but the service does not correspond to the high price level (especially because of the thing with the rag and the bread...). On Saturday, July 27, 24, we had the unforgettable experience of being able to enjoy a nine-course surprise menu in Thomas Abele's restaurant at Feinkost Kahn. All courses were at star level, so it would go too far to introduce each individual course. The presentations and the flavors were incomparable. The aisle with the stuffed mini zucchini flowers filled with a lobster fish farce is representative of all the courses. Simply divine. Thomas Abele is a gifted chef, and Enrico's excellent service rounded off the experience. We would love to come back and are looking forward to it.
