First of all, I have been a customer at Café Faßbender for 30 years and really appreciate the quality of the cakes and tarts. But what really goes against the grain for me is the fact that you can no longer pay for take-away cakes in cash, but now have to pay cashless. Gone are the days when you could send your young people to buy cake. So you are forced to reveal your purchasing behavior. What's even more incomprehensible is that you can pay for your cake in cash if you eat it in a café. Not with me! In the future, the cake will be bought at Breuer in Bonn-Oberkassel or at Café Nottebrock in Bad Honnef. Their cakes are just as good, and they're happy to receive cash. It's no longer up to the original Fassbender. The service is bad, the cappuccino tastes musty, the iced coffee tasteless and full of unsweetened cream. The whole restaurant/cafe smells like potato pancakes. The prices are high and we won't be going back there. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
