Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was not satisfactory. From the moment I arrived I found a poor organization in the reception despite having received two calls during the day to confirm my booking, upon arrival the staff struggled to find it. Table service was friendly but not enough to make up for the culinary disappointments. The appetizer ordered, a platter for two, promised a selection of cold cuts but turned out to be unbalanced, only three slices of patanegra and a predominance of poor quality coppa and spicy salami which did not justify the expectations. The focaccia served was overpriced. The meat, an element that should be the flagship of a place like this, was the real sore point, overcooked, sliced patanegra with no flavor and definitely tough to give an idea. Despite the commitment of the staff, the quality-price ratio of the food and the overall experience do not lead me to recommend this restaurant, it is certainly an excellent bar but the catering disappointed and a lot. I hope they can improve. From my experience I would not recommend it and would not return. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50–60 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

If you ask me what my favorite place is, I have no doubts, Fondi since 1936! Not just because it's beautiful isn't it! It's a combination of things, kind and professional staff, high quality products, great dedication to the customer and his needs. Not to mention the friendliness of the boys and girls who make you feel at home! I organized a dinner to celebrate my birthday at Fondi dal 1936 in Grottaferrata. I was satisfied with the location, exactly the place I was looking for; of the service, attentive and fast; and dinner, starting with platters of excellent quality cured meats and cheeses.
