Personnel incompétent, cocktail pas équilibré et pas bons. C’est un lieu pour gens qui n’apprécient pas ce qu’ils boivent, mais veulent juste danser sur de la pseudo techno…Incroyable comment des business aussi médiocres tiennent debout.

As a first comer without knowing anything about the place I liked it. The drinks were refreshing and different. The food was good, but had a weird experience with the staff from the kitchen with whom I initiated the conversation in Romanian, he replied in English, and when I went to pick up the food only I caught him talking in Romanian and then switched to English again when he saw me. What's that about? I found it a bit pushy the way you were asked about tips on everything. And honestly when you have your clients doing some of the works we were used to expect from the waiters it's rather odd to ask about how was the service or tips. A Pleasant Bucharest Surprise Seeing Frank Turner in Bucharest was always going to be a memorable experience, but the venue, Expirat, significantly enhanced the night. I'll admit, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from a smaller venue in the city, but I was genuinely impressed. Firstly, the internal organisation was surprisingly efficient. From entry to the bar to the cloakroom, everything flowed smoothly. It's clear they've put thought into the layout and logistics, which made a huge difference to the overall atmosphere. Secondly, and perhaps most importantly for a gig like Frank Turner's, the stage setup allowed for excellent proximity. You could easily position yourself close to the stage, creating that intimate, energetic connection between the artist and the audience. This is a crucial factor for a performer who thrives on audience interaction, and Expirat facilitated it perfectly. It's a fantastic space for smaller, more personal gigs, where getting up close and personal with the artist is a priority. The sound quality was also commendable, clear and balanced, ensuring that Frank's lyrics and energy came through powerfully. Finally, Expirats location is convenient, not too far from the city centre, making it easily accessible. This is a significant plus, especially when considering late-night returns after a gig. Overall, Expirat proved to be a well-organised, intimate, and accessible venue, perfectly suited for the energy of a Frank Turner show. It's a great option for those seeking a more personal gig experience in Bucharest, and I'd happily return for future performances. Price per person: lei 100–120 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
