Original bubble tea/Taiwanese restaurant in Burnaby on Kingsway. Super spacious for dine-in, and every second table is removed for a comfortable/clean dining experience during covid. Plenty of parking at the back which is a bonus. Their slushes are honestly very reasonably priced, and it’s a pretty large cup (one-size only) compared to a lot of other places. Taro slush $4.75: Right amount of creaminess, nice ice/slush texture. I got regular sweetness, which was great. Mango slush $4.75: Fruity and refreshing. Pearls were a good texture too, not too soft or hard.

The food is pretty good here and acceptable price. I like all the beverages, especially the capis green tea!!

Came to try Estea Cafe Kingsway with two other friends. They had gotten the omelette rice (one with the Taiwanese chicken nuggets and the other one with braised beef brisket). I ordered the Taiwanese spicy hot pot with pork as my protein. Let me warn you first...the Taiwanese spicy hot pot was spicy! Really spicy for someone that doesn't normally have spicy foods, luckily for me - I really enjoy hot/spicy foods so it worked out perfectly. The pork inside was cooked perfectly and the vegetables inside went along great with a plain bowl of rice. Both of my friends also enjoyed their meals as well. So it's 5/5 for me.
