My girlfriend and I were visiting Liechtenstein for a few hours and didn’t realize most places were closed or closed early on Sundays. We happened to come across this restaurant and I’m so happy we did. Who would’ve thought that an Asian restaurant in one of the smallest countries in the middle of Europe would be this delicious. I had the chicken fried rice and my girlfriend had the mapo tofu. So good and the staff were really friendly! Not sure if we’ll ever visit the country again, but if we do, we’ll make an effort to eat here again!

If you’re craving for an Asian cuisine in the middle of Europe, you’ll be surprised that small town Vaduz, Liechtenstein has something to offer. Restaurant Engel serves Thai and in general Asian cuisine. Food is syrprisingly really good and tasty. and the restaurant is very quaint. You have to walk a little bit from the bus stop, a little hike up a hill and a flight of stairs to a twrrace area overlooking the bus stop and the plaza. Location is central. The only thing that refrained me from giving it a 5 star is we were supposed to be under an eat all you can package but they limited our serving of fish when we asked for more of it. But otherwise, good experience.
