Review for the restaurant El Toro I had a really disappointing experience at El Toro restaurant yesterday, which I unfortunately have to share with the community. Our group was excited to try the promising dishes on the menu. Given the variety of tapas on offer, we just wanted to get a recommendation from the service so that we could make a good selection. However, to our surprise, our request was ignored by the waitress, who later turned out to be the owner. Instead of answering our question and helping us choose, the owner of the restaurant referred us. He reacted extremely unprofessionally to our request to be more specific about the extensive tapas selection. His response: "We are a Spanish restaurant, we serve tapas" was not only rude, but also showed a clear indifference to his guests' wishes. As a result, we were actually thrown out of the house just because we wanted simple advice - something that has never happened to me in this form in a restaurant. To make matters worse, we were charged €7.80 for a bottle of water that was shown on the menu as €6.90. We were not offered a receipt. It's disappointing that a restaurant that presents itself as a Spanish specialty doesn't value good service. A place where guests have to leave because of a simple question for recommendations clearly has some catching up to do in terms of customer friendliness and service. Luckily, we enjoyed a very good meal at the Italian restaurant Da Mimmo, which was complemented by excellent service and delicious food. El Toro can still learn a lot from this service. Summary Quality of service: Unprofessional and rude. Recommendations: Lack of advice and support. Pricing: Unclear pricing of drinks, no receipt. Conclusion: Unfortunately not recommended if good service and customer satisfaction are important. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I served them myself and when asked what I could recommend, I told you that unfortunately I didn't have anything outside of the menu today, but we are a Spanish restaurant so I would recommend tapas. After I was repeatedly called unprofessional by you and you spoke derogatorily about me even though I was standing at the table, I continued to politely offer them that they were welcome to leave the restaurant and that I did not need to serve guests who were so derogatory deal with the service industry. Then you wanted to leave. I then took away the mineral water from them. At €6.90! I forgave you the other drinks you ordered, Buer and GingerAle, even though you ordered them and you were already finished. The gentleman who paid with another €10 note got 3.10 back from me. And you would have proof Of course they could have come from us, but they were gone so quickly that I didn't have time to get them for you. Sad thing when you don't do anything as a waiter then immediately gets a negative rating, but that shows me your empathy and respect for the service industry.
