En organisant votre voyage, tenez compte de Museum Land van Valkenburg et pensez à l'endroit où vous mangerez ensuite. En effet, ce bar est tout près de cet endroit. Si vous n'avez jamais goûté la cuisine cuisine mexicaine, venez à El Castillo. Ce lieu pourrait vous faire plaisir avec un soupe épicée délectable. Essayez un tequila délicieux ici. Si vous voulez goûter un café immense, cet endroit est un bon choix. Les visiteurs n'apprécient pas vraiment prendre une glace à ce bar.
L'atmosphère chaleureuse de El Castillo permet aux clients de se reposer après une longue journée de travail. Un personnel sympa montre un haut niveau d'hospitalité dans ce lieu. Restaurant mexicain situé dans le centre de Valkenburg. Nous avons pris un plateau à partager à deux, qui était plus que copieux et qui nous a permis de goûter différents plats. Nous avons bien mangé et les prix restent corrects. La décoration est à certains niveaux un peu too much mais à 100% dans le thème. Le personnel est très sympa ! My last visit left me with a bit of a love/hate relationship with this place... (3 weeks ago, I debated for a long time whether I should write this review, but it still bothers me how it all went... ). The food and drinks are great, I can only say good things about that. Furthermore, the interior is beautiful. You immediately feel like you are in Mexico when you walk in. Especially at the back of the store (where they have created a kind of courtyard) it is very beautiful and attractively decorated. BUT....... unfortunately there is absolutely no Mexican hospitality (anymore). Very unfortunate. After we had made a reservation (weeks!) in advance, we were told that they had taken our reservation incorrectly and had mistakenly put it a day earlier. So suddenly there was no room(!). As a result, (after the staff had exchanged some oppressive, irritated looks and comments) we were placed in a really busy place in the middle of the restaurant between large groups of people. And while we had actually asked for a quiet place when we made our reservation. We then indicated that we did not like it and asked if we could sit somewhere else. And this was possible, but it was all a bit difficult and the staff looked very cheerful and understanding. They were talking a lot about large groups of people who were still coming, it was busy and sooo difficult.... in the end we were allowed to sit at the very back where there were at least 4 free tables and where until 10:00 PM, when we left, -no dog- has sat down anymore. So entire groups didn't show up? Or was it something else...? The left and right of the entrance, the front of the restaurant, was also empty or barely occupied all evening. I really don't understand where the heated reaction we got came from. We also had to constantly ask ourselves if we could order something to drink. The staff really walked around like a bunch of police officers (1 waiter in particular, a very unsympathetic figure). And little feeling for people. “It's in place and then you walk away.” El Castillo would do well to reconsider this. A few years ago (even in the middle of a corona lockdown!) it was very nice and we received a super friendly and hospitable welcome. Then it was possible... with a distance of 1.5 meters between everything. ¿Qué os ha pasado El Castillo?
