Esca Cueva is truly a hidden gem that deserves far more credit than it’s getting. Despite a surprisingly low rating in some reviews, my experience there was exceptional and completely different from what the online comments suggested. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was captivating. The cave-like interior is both elegant and intimate, setting a unique ambiance that transports you somewhere entirely different. The decor is thoughtfully designed, creating an experience that’s not just about dining but about being enveloped in an artistic environment. The food exceeded my expectations. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The chefs clearly know what they’re doing; the menu is creative yet well-balanced, with generous portions that felt worth every penny. The standout for me was the attention to detail in each course, from appetizers to dessert. The service was another highlight. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. I’m surprised the reviews don’t reflect the quality of the staff because they certainly went above and beyond. In all, Esca Cueva has been underrated in its online reviews. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique dining experience with high-quality food and exceptional service. Don’t let the online comments deter you; Esca Cueva deserves a much better reputation than it currently has. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Went with my fiance to the afternoon slot for my birthday lunch. The process of booking to entering was unpleasant and rude. Food was below average. Waiters not welcoming. Atmosphere and vibes are 0, no music, no DJ, nothing in the afternoon slot. View is terrible - looking at empty land,trash, and trucks. Save your money. Price per person: E£1,000+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This place is really terrible and when I say terrible I do mean it for the following reasons. 1. I reserved online for the 4-7 slot, the confirmation was pending forever, We kept calling the number on your instagram and on google maps and unfortunately no one answered. when we reached the place it was empty with no one there (literally only the two of us). We were questioned by the waiter in regards to our reservation upon arrival even though we were the only ones there. Overall the process to book and be seated was not smooth. 2. Mentioning a minimum charge of 2K is unacceptable especially for the afternoon slot, no music, no vibes, nothing whatsoever. Absolutely disappointing atmosphere. 3. Right behind our table, there was drilling going on to hang up a sign (since your opening is at 4pm, why wait to drill during working hours when you can get done in the morning 9:00 - 15:00). 4. Food was very average, nothing special. Waiter spilled my juice while serving(which is fine we all make mistakes however he didn’t clean up the mess properly in-fact he just sent someone else to clean) 5. The view is terrible with trucks and garbage and not what is being promoted online. 6. Finally, 24hrs after my booking the hospitality staff reached out to me ask about my experience and I told them everything just to get an AI generated. Pathetic! Overall, the afternoon 4-7 slot is not nice and there are no vibes, barely even music or Dj. Those arriving in this slot should be charged less than the night slot. I would not recommend the afternoon slot to anyone and don't believe I will be visiting again anytime soon. It was my fiancés birthday and we expected much better and unfortunately did not satisfy or meet our expectations.
