When I first walked in for my friends birthday the door people were very accommodating.the venuewas extremely busy but the servers took our orders in at appropriate times making the service that much more enjoyable. The food was out of the park good. All in all I give Drom Taberna a 5 out of 5 Price per person: CA$50–60 Recommended dishes: Pierogis, Goulash Poutine

Repulsive experience: had prior reservation and got there on time only to be told by door staf that place is full and they cannot seat us.
Quite possible he gave out our table to someone else who tipped.
Bouncer was also totally rude and unprofesioal.
They made us feel we are not welcomed there at all.

I went for the se one time at this place. My girlfriend love this restaurant and everything were good. Expensive dishes, but good food (not amazing, just good).
The real problem came in the end. We asked our bill. 5 people in the table. Each one paid for your own orders. I paid mine and I give 5% tip. At first I thought I was print 15%. A few minutes after the girl who served us come back and said loudly for everyone in the table “sit, you gave to only 5% tip. The minimum is 15%”.
I explained to her i thought I was printed 15% but she insisted on the minimum of 15%. At first, I felt bad for that and I said bring the machine for me again, please?
But right after I regret. When she came back I said “you make me feel very uncomfortable with your request. You should never complain about how much some one tip you. Tip is a gratitude not an obligation. But she started to say about “it’s an obligation to pay 15% at least”
Then I said no, you wrong.
She just leave the table, very rude, very bad.

I do not recommend places like this.

There’s people who doesn’t pay anything for tip, any amount paid is welcome.
