Reservations are a good idea for this place as it gets busy for dinner. The atmosphere is neat and the food/drink options are great. Our food came out extremely quickly even with the restaurant being so busy. Staff was friendly and we really enjoyed our food. I got the ten ten man noodles and my partner got the ling cod. This place is so cozy and the perfect place for delicious, filling, comforting food. The beef belly Katsu sandwich--so tender and succulent. But their omurice tomato sauce, the clear star. I would do horrible, horrible things to have it again. So simple and yet SO satisfying. The epitome of Japanese comfort food. And that egg slice, so satisfying. Probably the best omurice in Vancouver. This place is great for intimate dates, friends dinners of up to 6, or just a solo pick-me-up meal. The staff are very polite and gracious. This is my favourite restaurant now and their omurice would easily be my death row meal! I ate it too quickly to take any pics (nevermind my friend took one). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
