The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered kids pasta, fish fillet (catch of the day) and a steak. The staff was attentive and friendly too. Best lunch we had during our trip in Sicily. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My experience of this restaurant was soured by the waiter trying to overcharge us by 10 euros. Just annoying and unnecessary to have to deal with that when you’re trying to have a nice holiday. Also, the parmiagana was warm on top but fridge-cold at the bottom, as if I’d had been insufficiently microwaved. And the green salad was a small bowl of chopped iceberg lettuce with olive oil on the side. Overall, poor quality, over-priced & they tried to rip me off. Avoid. First of all you have to visit Scicli in Sicily. The town is wonderful with amazing views and the coolest streets for shopping and dining. We came upon Donna Luisa's Osteria owned and operated by Donna Luisa and her son (figlio). We had a salume and formaggio board that was outstanding. At one point Donna Luisa came out, introduced herself and we had a wonderful conversation. She learned we just retired to Sicily from St. Louis, Missouri and together we worked through our basic Italian while she worked through some English. Warm conversation with lots of laughs and making new memories. Try Osteria Donna Luisa. Make sure to eat outside. It's so inviting and great for people watching. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
