Today 19.03. on the Feast of St. Joseph in the afternoon, we come to the Korana hotel with the intention of drinking coffee and eating dessert, and get a little live information about the hotel's offer! We were greeted by a very rude and unapproachable lady to whom we didn't even get to say anything we really wanted, she sent us by express so that we were shocked! I don't remember having such a welcome anywhere in my life! Really more than shameful behavior!

We have stayed at Hotel Korana Srakovcic for one night - New Years Eve, with halfboard. We are delighted with the hotel, the family atmosphere and friendly staff, as well as with the beautiful surroundings! We have not been aware that Perivoj Josipa Vrbanica, the location where the hotel is located, is a monument of landscape architecture! This made our experience even better. Rooms: The room was spatious, well equipped and very clean, with comfortable beds. We had a balcony that overlooked Korana river, so the view was beautiful. The toiletries were also of very good quality. Safety: The overall feeling we have had during our one-night stay was safe, despite the nearby New Years Eve fireworks. It was less noisy at ground floor/restaurant, but this was a special occasion so we couldn't complain. Walkability: The hotel is located in a middle of park, just a short walk from the oldest part of the city - Karlovacka Zvijeza. The position next to the riverbank, with beautiful walking paths and bridges is beautiful. It takes approx. 45 minutes to take a circular walk and check out the entire area: equestrian club, arboretum, water pumping station, tennis court and the old entrance to Perivoj Josipa Vrbanica. Food & drinks: A 3-course a la carte dinner was delicious and nicely prepared with fresh ingredients. The grandma mushroom soup is a must to try! Selection of deserts was also very good, we especially liked the warm cheese strudel with silky orange topping. Unfortunately we have not tried any wine, but we did find out that the winelist is carefully selected. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Great value

The hotel is a real little gem. Located next to the Korana river itself. My husband and I and our two dogs really enjoyed it. We had everything we needed, the service was excellent, everything with a smile and of course I must mention that they are pet friendly. The hotel is in a park so we had daily walks through the parks and along the river. The breakfast was just right, we had everything. We enjoyed the hotel sauna and the unheated swimming pool (it was around 20 degrees). Kudos to the staff and owners! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
